We’re delighted to welcome Brett Pearce to the Riordan team as Area Sales Manager, Metro and South Western Victoria, bringing with him extensive experience in the oil industry and sales.
Based at Lara, Brett will focus on the region stretching from Geelong to the South Australian border, as well as the Melbourne metro area.
Brett has worked for over 10 years in the lubricants industry in a sales-based role, servicing the transport, quarry and the agricultural sectors.
Brett grew up in Nagambie and began his career as a marine technician with the Australian Defence Force. He spent six years at Puckapunyal Army Base before heading to the Gold Coast and Cairns to further his career as a marine technician.
Whilst working in the marine industry Brett took on a role within the sales department and found the change a rewarding one. He then made a switch to lubricants industry, covering a wide and varied customer base over a 10-year period.
“What really attracted me to join the team at Riordan Fuels is that they are a family-owned company with a rich history in the fuel and grains industries. I’m excited to be back working with a close-knit team in a strong, resilient industry.”
He said with the transport industry undergoing some sustainability-related changes, there are some great developments happening at Riordan Fuels in that area, with bulk diesel remaining the main focus.
Riordan Fuels General Manager Brent Squires welcomed Brett to the team, saying customers across the south-west and beyond will benefit from his vast industry expertise.
