The snap decision by the federal government to cut fuel excise in half overnight has caught everyone by surprise & left the fuel industry reeling due to the lack of consultation & time allowed to adopt the changes. All fuel retailers & service stations such as our own will have stock on hand that has already had the full excise applied & will need to be worked through before the reduced excise fuel will start to take effect. Stock turn, in very general terms, will take around one to two weeks for a full turn at each location.
